Stella McCartney ist in London geboren und aufgewachse. Sie ist eine britische Modedesignerin und Tochter eines der kultigsten Paare des 20. Jahrhunderts. Die Eltern sind Paul McCartney, ehemaliges Mitglied der Beatles, und der verstorbene Linda McCartney, Fotografin und Musikerin. Stella wurde 1971 gegründet und nach ihrer Urgroßmutter benannt. Stella verbrachte einen großen Teil ihrer Jugend auf Tour mit ihren Eltern. Dort entwickelte Sie früh ein Interesse an Mode und entwarf mit 13 Jahren ihre erste Jacke. Sie arbeitete auch als Praktikantin für Christian Lacroix und Edward Sexton, Paul McCartney’s Schneider. Stella studierte Mode am Central St. Martins College. Ihre Erste Modekollektion war voll von Weiblichkeit, umfasste aber auch Accessoires, Brillen und Düfte.
