Ole Henriksen's history
It was Ole Henriksen's own experiences and problems with acne as a young man that was the start of his career in skin care. At that time Ole Henriksen lived in Jakarta, Indonesia, where he worked as a show dancer and had several modeling jobs. A visit to one of the local residents in Jakarta, started the fascination for skincare options and effects. Ole Henriksen learned here through healing and natural treatments, what a great transformation skin can undergo with the right treatment.
Shortly afterwards Ole Henriksen attended "Christine Shaw Beauty College" in London and studied chemistry, cosmetics, anatomy, facial care, body care, electrolight and fashion makeup. After completing his education, Ole Henriksen worked for Helena Rubenstein as a member of their treinee team in Central London.
In 1975 Ole Henriksen opened the "Ole Henriksen of Denmark Skin Care Center" in Beverly Hills specializing in acne treatment and chemical peels. The rumor about Ole Henriksen's innovative treatment and "state of the art" materials and formulas spread like wildfire in these parts. From one day to another, Ole Henriksen, became a super popular media darling with a tightly packed appointment book. Ole Henriksen's marketing primarely based on word-of-mouth and his goal was to give every customer a 100% VIP treatment and the best possible results.
In 1986, Ole Henriksen published his first book, and shortly thereafter he created the first products "Avocado Facial Cleanser, Facial Toner Cucomber and Herbal Day Cream". Today Ole Henriksen company is owned by LVMH (Louie Vuitton Möet Hennesey), but Ole still working with the brand to develop the product and the brand.
