In sheer frustration over the mediocre range of products Bumble and Bumble launched the product Brilliantine in 1990. But it wasn't til the launch of Surf Spray in 2001 that Bumble and Bumble was highlighted enough in the media to become an competitor on the hair care market.
Today Bumble and Bumble is a well-known series and one of Hollywood's most popular hair care brands. Bumble and Bumble is used as the official supplier of hair products in several movies and TV series like Twilight, Glee, True Blood, The Help, Damages, Shame, Modern Family and The Vampire Diaries.
